About Me

My photo
Nancy at Tree Top Mountain Vista
Asheville, North Carolina, United States
I grew up in the lake country of Northern Wisconsin. Guess I should have known then I was a country girl at heart. Later I lived on the West Coast of Florida for many years and raised my family. I took a brief foray into Seattle, Washington for 9 months in 1990 and loved it there but missed my family back in Florida. I never lost my love of the mountains however,(picture is me in the Olympic Mts.) so I later moved to Western North Carolina to experience the rugged and "wild" beauty of the area and still not be too far away from my family, which by now had grown to include 4 grandsons. My dream of having a quaint little cabin on the side of a mountain came true 12 years ago and I moved into what was known then only as "my home on Buzzard Knob". Friends who visited said they would not want to ever leave if they lived there. I agreed. But I knew I wanted to share what I have with other people... When an opportunity came up to move into a new home, I gladly took it and my cabin became known as "Tree Top Mountain Vista", a beautiful place where anyone can come and experience what I had for all those years. I take pride in my little dream place. I love it and I know you will too.
